Lindsey is Piggyback Health’s Outside General Counsel. She is cofounder of Smith Shapourian Mignano PC, a women and minority-owned boutique law firm in San Francisco, focused on providing counseling and transactional services for business formation and expansion into US markets, contract drafting and negotiation, and financing matters for startups and small businesses.

Lindsey has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers every year since 2016, an honor awarded to only 2.5% of attorneys under the age of 40. She has received the Outstanding Barristers Award in 2017 from the Bar Association of San Francisco, the Women in the Law Committee’s Outstanding New Leader Award in 2015 from DRI, an international legal organization for defense and corporate counsel, and the Super Lawyers Rising Star award every year since 2016. She serves as the current President-Elect of the Barristers Board of Directors for the Bar Association of San Francisco, on the Board of Directors for Mini Cat Town, Inc. and on the Board of the Stanford Alumni Association Women’s Impact Network. She also serves as a Sustainer in the Junior League of San Francisco.

Lindsey grew up in Hawaii and graduated from the Iolani School, before pursuing studies at Stanford University (B.A., Feminist Studies, 2007) and the University of California, Hastings College of the Law (J.D., 2010). She is the great granddaughter of an immigrant who founded Hawaii’s largest poultry farm, which her family owned and operated for 50 years until a partial acquisition. Prior to launching Smith Shapourian Mignano, Lindsey practiced law in the San Francisco office of an international law firm.

Ciara advises Piggyback Health on marketing and leadership. Drawing from 16 years of experience in marketing strategy, she works with decision-makers to identify new areas of brand opportunity and maps out strategies to grow, be seen, be heard, and have impact. Ciara is a certified business & life coach and consultant, a published author on “Leading Teams with Trust, Transparency and Empathy”, and the former lead digital Marketing instructor at BrainStation, a global leader in digital skills training, empowering businesses and brands to succeed in the digital age.

Ciara has worked with venture capital firms like Golden Seeds and MassVentures who fund and support Femtech and women-led businesses, and she has helped early-stage healthcare and technology companies find their voice and grow their brands.

She is CEO and Founder of YouAreLoved to support and connect the homeless with opportunities to restart and rebuild their lives. Ciara is also a Board member at TechShift whose mission is to empower students to shift technology’s role in bettering society and what it is now all people in it by encouraging student-led community initiatives.

Tony is a Business Advisor to Piggyback Health. He is a Managing Director and the Head of Technology Investing for the Fundamental Active Equity division of BlackRock's Active Equities Group and runs the Global Technology funds. Tony joined BlackRock in 2013 and has 22 years of investment experience at companies including Artisan Partners, Credit Suisse Asset Management, Neuberger Berman, Merrill Lynch, SG Warburg, and Rockwell Intl. He has an MBA from Columbia University, and a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois.

Chris is the founder and Chief Investment Officer of 71W Partners, an investment firm focused on public market investments. He has spent over 20 years as an investor in the public markets, including as a member of the Healthcare Team at Perry Capital. Chris received a BA from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Chris is also the father of two energetic, curious, and bright girls, ages 12 and 8, both of whom deserve a chance to start and run a company, should they choose that path. He became an advisor to Piggyback Health with the hope of helping the team tip the scales in favor of Femtech companies and female-led companies.

Doug has three daughters and wants to see them thrive physically, mentally, and professionally. He advises Piggyback Health on finance and entrepreneurship drawing from his executive leadership building companies, growing operations, and ensuring successful exits for business ventures in the MidWest US and SouthEast Asia.

Doug has over 23 years of venture and PE backed company experience. He is currently CFO and Board member at American Guardian, a provider of specialty warranty coverages. Prior to this he was an operating partner at Invision Holdings, Inc. a PE firm in Chicago, and Co-founder and CFO of Peerless Network, a large player in the CPaaS and VOIP sector, and Co-Founder and CFO of TeleGuam Holdings, LLC, an integrated communications provider in the Western Pacific, offering wire line, wireless, broadband and cable TV services to consumers and businesses. Doug was also the CFO of a privately held food company and a founding member of management in a private equity leveraged buyout of the company, and held several positions at another startup that went public. Doug is a C.P.A. and started his career as a consultant with PWC. He earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois at Champaign and M.B.A. from Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration.

Ki advises Piggyback Health on design and optimization of UX/UI for digital health. He brings 20+ years of design experience and knowledge. For the past seven years, he has solved usability and engagement challenges for digital health companies focused on EHR (Practice Fusion), Asthma/COPD (Propeller Health), to smoking cessation (Carrot.co). He believes healthcare doesn't have to be complicated and should be available for everyone, especially for the underrepresented. He hopes to make a positive impact on society through design one problem at a time.
